Refund & Cancellation Policy
These rules apply to invoice compliance audits, exception clear-downs, policy walkthroughs, and recovery reviews commissioned from Digital Transformation.
Eligibility
Fees are refundable only as described below. Informational website content is free and has no refund. We do not sell physical products or software licences through this site.
Deposits
Engagements may require a deposit stated in the proposal. Deposits reserve examiner time for your findings window.
Cancellation by you
- More than 10 business days before the agreed fieldwork start: full refund of amounts paid, minus any non-recoverable travel booked with your written approval.
- 5–10 business days before start: 50% of the engagement fee is retained; the balance is refunded.
- Fewer than 5 business days before start, or after fieldwork has begun: fees for work already performed are due; unused prepaid amounts may be partially refunded at our discretion based on completed sampling.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without penalty if you give at least 5 business days’ notice and we have examiner capacity. Later reschedules may be treated as cancellations under the tiers above.
No-shows
If your team fails to provide agreed file access or misses a scheduled on-site day without notice, that day is billable and non-refundable.
Work already started
Once sampling or document review has begun, fees cover completed workpapers even if you stop the engagement. You receive the work completed to date.
Walkthrough sessions
Policy walkthrough fees are refundable in full if cancelled more than 5 business days ahead. Later cancellations forfeit 50%. Materials prepared specifically for your examples remain billable if preparation has started.
Non-refundable items
- Third-party costs you pre-approved in writing (for example courier of paper binders)
- Completed findings packs already delivered
- Time spent waiting on-site when access was not ready
Refund process and timing
Email hello@digital-transformation.digital with your proposal reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible.
